hi..
It's another one of my characters: Kito.. a fox who is so small, he can live in a pumpkin! He likes to sit on a root and make soap-bubbles all day.
The scene is a bit inspired by one of Anrys paintings.. I didnt mean to copy it or so, it's just how I imagine the place where Kito lives :/
ah, this is quite great! I love the pumpkin, and that a fox lives in it!
The whole atmosphere of this is quite wonderful, I love that tree, and the linework throughout the whole thing... and I really like the leaves
Good job

Was this painted? I can't tell . . . I'm not very perceptive. The leaves are an interesting draw, for the eyes, mostly because they look convincing - yet upon closer examination aren't actually attached to a branch of whatever sort. It's a nice illusion - I'm assuming you layered the leaves over the branches?
The whole things rather nice, but the other big thing for me was the grass - so I wanted to point how nice it was to come across something . . . that made the picture feel very organic and real. In someways it reminds me of the artwork in the SoM/SoL games, where everything looked hand drawn, flora moved and giggled around - your piece here gives that feeling. That at any time it could start moving.
I think my only real problem is the fox itself, it's an interesting character - but the details are hard to make out. In fact a close up in another picture would be interesting (if you don't already have one - I haven't seen all of your gallery by far)/ The other thing about the fox, it seems to have a lighter tone or somethhing beneath it (the legs) and my mind keeps wanting that to be shadow - to give the character a better place in the world (the picture). I'm not sure if you intended it to be this way or not . . . but I really like this work - kinda felt wrong not to give it a critique with nothing held back.
